Here's a alphabetical list of some words that are not easy to translate, 
or, sometimes, to spell ;-) 
Each paragraph starts with the english term/phrase, followed by a list
of proposed German translations (nouns with articles).
Proposals are (or should be) should be sorted by preferred usage. 
Sometimes the origin is mentioned (of course not always possible):
For example, translations taken from the excellent German documentation
of TortoiseSVN are marked with "(as in the TSVN docs)"
